Date with a Purpose

Only commit to a guy if you can see yourself marrying him. Once you've built the foundation of a lasting friendship, you should be able to determine if the guy is marriage material. If he's not, then don't commit. How do you know what qualities to look for? Here are ten essential questions to ask yourself before dating:

-Can I trust him with all my heart?

-Does he value my goals and dreams in life?

-Does he treat all women with respect, not just the ones he aims to impress?

-Has he recently broken up with another girl? If so, take it extra slow and make sure he's had time on his own for a while.

-What do his ex-girlfriends think of him? Take a serious look at why his last relationship ended.

-Does he care about my happiness, or is he self-absorbed?

-Does he make me a better person, or am I spending my time trying to fix him?

-Would he be a great dad?

-After spending time with him, do I feel cherished instead of used and afraid?

-When it comes to getting to heaven, is he a helpmate or a hindrance?
