Practical Pointers

If you are determined to use your womanhood to invite boys to be men, it helps to have some practical pointers for how to live the virtue of modesty. When picking out an outfit from the store or from your closet, ask yourself the following questions:

- Does this outfit fit me or cling to me?
- If I lean over, will my outfit show too much from the front or back?
- Does this wardrobe complement my personality or distract from it?
- Does this outfit draw a guy's attention to my face or to my body parts?
- By the way I dress, am I inviting guys to act like gentlemen?
- What is my outfit asking for?
- If I wanted to be used by a guy, how would I dress?

Aside from these pointers, remember that modesty is not merely an attitude. It's one of the twelve fruits of the Holy Spirit. If you wish to radiate your God-given beauty, you need to live in union with Him. Ask for the virtue of modesty. It is a grace from heaven, given so that you will be a reflection of heaven.
