First is her influence upon womankind - No woman who loves Christ is entirely weak and insignificant. Someone will pattern after her, or draw courage from her. A good woman living in modesty and simplicity is a mighty force among women. By her trueness to principle, her loyalty to right and truth, she is an anchor and fortress to the weaker sisters about her. And just is powerful is the woman who is not good.
Second is her influence on mankind - A good woman can be like a star of hope, a beacon-light, a peaceful retreat, to the man who is struggling against obstacles of the world. In her he can see the ideal purity and truth, and his manhood will strive to be worthy of her. But if she steps down from the path of true, virtuous womanhood and becomes petty or sinful, she will be his downfall.
Life is so great, so wonderful, so full of possibilities that none of us can afford to be anything but what is good and pure and true! Let us make the perfect rose an emblem of our womanhood and strive that our life shall bless all who come in contact with us.
